So we woke up to snow on Friday morning and our back garden was a winter wonderland of white and green. Bridget loved the snow, though wasn't so keen on the enforced clothing arrangements!
The cats loved the snow, Boots attacked it and Clessie attacked her!
Cruising in the wheels having a grand old time of a snow day!
Friday night was Jared's work meal and we rushed off through the snow to meet the Cumins West Crew... an interesting experience!
after an early start - this is me just off to bed close to midnight hoping for 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep before the trek south in the morning.
Of course, I chose to wear beautiful but ultimately impractical shoes, spent half the night walking the floor with Bridget either running of being carried around and consequently had rather sore ankles!
6am Saturday morning we're up to go to Grandpa & Granny Hoag's for a Christmas Celebration... early and grumpy though we were!
Opening stocking with the inlaws... Bridget was fascinated by the cousins and the log fire!
The grandchildren photo in front of the fire was actually far less painful than expected... if you ignore my hand for reassurance...
Camera's actually outnumbered Children in this scenario... so someone got the perfect shot somewhere!
but inevitably... Bridget had enough and made a getaway!
Auntie Monica brought brains... and Bridget decided to be a Zombie while the other kiddos scoffed chocolate.
Opening presents was a mad house... paper and presents and people everywhere - it obviously brought out the demons in Jared and I!
But Bridget loved her presents and had a wonderful time watching her cousins run and play and even joined in a little herself!
We drove home and scooted off to the Ward Christmas Party - arriving just in time for my musical item, which though I say it myself, was wonderful!
The Christmas Season is upon us...
